Showcasing the crème de la crème of queer artistes and bent performers Ruby Lounge’s line-up so far has a staggering array of professional acts.
Bronagh Gallagher
The amazing Bronagh Gallagher, of The Commitments and Pulp Fiction fame whose new album Precious Soul is available now, will be live with her band. Bronagh’s deep and soulful voice combined with her awesome lyrics and on-stage presence should make this a performance to remember.
Karen Egan
Comedienne, chanteuse and retired Nuala, Karen Egan invites you to sample a snippet of the strange and wonderful world of European cabaret. Combining her surreal humour with the exquisite musicianship of Danny Sheridan, Karen performs in French, English, German and Turkish. Her repertoire includes songs by Jacques Brel, Kurt Weill, Hanns Eisler and Ižmir Ataturk, as well as a selection of intriguing self-penned ballads. She’s a woman of pain, passion, puns and endless surprises.

Tamale and Johnny T
Tamale hot from Chicago with her heart stopping burlesque performances and live comedy combines forces with Johnny T, another stand up Chicagoan guy, to provide us with a hormone boosting spectacle of drag, comedy, and burlesque. Tamale and Johnny T are regulars with The Chicago Kings and Girlesque Burlesque and wowed the crowds at last years Shamcocks’ presentation of The Chicago Crew.
Louise Killeen
Louise Killeen is taking time off from her tour with Luka Bloom to perform exclusively at Ruby Lounge, a winner of a number of national competitions since her first performance ever at aLAF 2002, Louise is about to launch her first solo album.
